Community Service

We believe strongly in giving back to our community as our company grows. Some ways we plan to volunteer in our community is through projects that help repair or build areas such as parks, benches, walk-ways, etc. We are also both Veterans and have supported the local Veterans’ Home for years and will continue to volunteer our time each month. In addition, Brandie has been an active leader in supporting Boy Scouts of America for over eleven years.

Another way we plan to give back is by keeping an eye out for someone in the community who is in need of repairs to their home. Yet because of their age, health, or financial situation they are unable to make these repairs. We will provide the labor and materials for these repairs as a free service to these individuals. We will not openly advertise this service to avoid an influx of requests. Our decision, each month, to provide this service will be determined by our being out in the community talking with people and listening to their needs.

2024 COMMUNITY OUTREACH DONATIONS PROGRAM

Lake Anna Home Solutions would like to give back to our community as a token of our thanks for allowing us to care for your homes and rental properties over the past two years. As such, each quarter we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to the following local organizations. If you would like more information about our outreach programs, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

1st Quarter 2024 – Opioid Overdose Prevention and Education

The Office of Pain Management and Opioid Stewardship is an interdisciplinary team comprised of medical practitioners and community members, including social workers and emergency services. Their goal is to provide education and promote community health in the setting of the ongoing opioid epidemic. In this role, they conduct community outreach events for parents, teachers, teens, and anyone else at risk of experiencing opioid abuse, to educate about risk factors, signs and symptoms of opioid overdose, and what individuals can do to help until emergency services arrive. All funding provided to the Office of Pain Management and Opioid Stewardship is spent on obtaining naloxone, the only available treatment for an opioid overdose, and distributing this medication for free throughout the community.

2nd Quarter 2024 – New Bridge Rescue

In rural areas, EMS is your health care provider for the first hour of life-threatening events. The Foundation for Lake Anna Emergency Services raised funds for the construction of New Bridge Fire & Rescue, Station 8, as well as for a new ambulance, supplies, and equipment for the ambulance. The current focus is to replace the county rescue boat on Lake Anna. The boat is a modified fishing boat not designed for rescue.
The Foundation is a 501c3.

The Louisa Humane Society (LHS) is proud to offer high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter services to the residents of Louisa County.
